I'm sure someone has figued out a decent semiweight for a little bit of realness when playing keys. These days i'm playing as much synth as actual piano, so having a weighted keyboard with "true piano feel" isnt as important to me. At 50 pounds of weighted keys and steel frame, old ass components etc., I'm sure its an absolute beast when used as a live show keyboard, but it just sits in my home studio, and doesnt need to be able to survive much percussion. The sound banks aren't so "premium" anymore, and while the few available control capabilities are helpful when using it as a midi controller, it certainly wasn't built with the contemporary digital midi control era in mind.
Ive been making music with a Kurzweil PC2x Performance Keyboard Controller for a while now, and it has served me well but is starting to feel a little long in the tooth.
